KHPA Home - Program Quality Reports

HealthWave - HealthWave is a managed care program through which two populations, HealthWave Title XIX (traditionally Medicaid) and HealthWave Title XXI (State Children’s Health Insurance Program [SCHIP]) receive health care services.

HealthConnect Kansas - HealthConnect Kansas (HCK) is a statewide primary care case management program established in 1994 to provide Medicaid beneficiaries with access to quality medical care in an efficient and economical manner. The Kansas Health Policy Authority (KHPA) contracts directly with Primary Care Case Managers (PCCMs) who receive a per member per month (PMPM) fee to provide some components of a medical home. They also provide care coordination for specialty care referrals. Medical services obtained by HCK members are reimbursed on a fee-for-service (FFS) basis.
