HealthWave is a managed care program that covers some Medicaid beneficiaries and all SCHIP beneficiaries through two managed care organizations (MCO): Children's Mercy Family Partners and UniCare Health Plan of Kansas, Inc.

HealthConnect is a Medicaid program in which beneficiaries have primary care doctors who manage their care.

The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) This is a federal agency that oversees the Medicaid programs in each state. This web page has information about both Medicaid and Medicare. It also has information about the new Medicaid Discount Drug cards.
