STATEWIDE STUDENT INSURANCE AND ADVISORY COMMITTEE
The program consists of two components:
Eligible Students
The Kansas State Employee Health Care Commission has established a Statewide
Student Insurance Program that is available to eligible students. Students
must be enrolled at one of the following universities: Emporia State University,
Fort Hays State University, Kansas State University, Pittsburg State University,
University of Kansas, University of Kansas Medical Center or Wichita State

Graduate Teaching Assistants and Research Assistants
The Kansas State Employees Health Care Commission has also established a program
for Graduate Teaching Assistants and Research Assistants (GTA/GRA) who have
been determined by the university to be eligible for an employer contribution
toward the cost of their insurance. Please contact the Graduate office or Human
Resource Department at the university for information regarding eligibility.
