**HEALTH CARE COMMISSION MODIFIES PRESCRIPTION DRUG COVERAGE FOR 2006**

The Health Care Commission approved the following modifications at its October 7, 2005 meeting:

Added a "without drugs" option for the Senior Plan C. This is intended for Medicare eligible participants who will take advantage of the new Medicare Part D so they can purchase 2006 prescription drug coverage on the "open market".
Select Drug Option will not be offered in 2006 due to declining enrollment. Participants can still achieve savings and convenience through generics and mail order.
